Qualifications / Prerequisites

Academic: Minimum 1st Degree in Humanities/Social Sciences, Qualified Trained Teacher
Knowledge and Skills: Effective public speaking, people management, organisational skills, very good Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills, internet usage, report writing, and good analytical skills.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF DISTRICT COORDINATORS

1. Gather information/data requested by the National Office, Assist FOBAC
National Office in the preparation of annual activity plans and reports,
data/information gathering using agreed/determined methodology as
and when it becomes necessary.

2. Be an effective and reliable liaison for FOBAC in the context of contacting
relevant authorities and personalities for discussions, to arrange meetings
or to prepare the grounds for upcoming events.

3. Participate in relevant meetings, programs and other events as the official
representative of FOBAC, as would have been formally directed by the
National Office.

4. Be part of FOBAC delegation for important meetings and public fora with stakeholders in their respective districts.

5. Act as key players (catalyst) in the organization and execution of FOBAC programmes/projects in their respective districts, as would have been directed by FOBAC.

6. Preparation and submission of concise but comprehensive reports on
activities carried out, as will be requested by the National Office.

7. Reports to Regional Coordinator, but when it becomes necessary also to
the Projects Team in Accra.

8. Be a worthy ambassador of not just FOBAC but also of the organizational
vision, and constantly work on membership drive by distributing any
printed campaign/advocacy materials and/or encouraging people to visit
our website.

9. Shall serve as official mouthpieces of FOBAC in their respective districts, speaking on issues for which they would have been given clearance by FOBAC National Office and with clear guidelines.

10. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the National Office.

1. Shall serve as official mouthpieces of FOBAC in their respective regions, speaking on issues for which they would have been given clearance by FOBAC National Office and with clear guidelines.

2. Shall be the official liaison for their region, working hand-in-hand with District Coordinators and monitoring and evaluating the activities of District Coordinators on behalf of FOBAC National Office.

3. Assist FOBAC National Office in the preparation of annual activity plans,
reports, and data/information gathering using agreed/determined
methodology as and when it may become necessary. Also the preparation
and submission of concise but comprehensive regional reports on activities
carried out, as will be requested by the National Office.

4. Be part of FOBAC delegation for important meetings and public fora with
stakeholders in their respective regions as would have been formally
directed by the National Office.

5. Be an effective and reliable liaison for FOBAC with respect to contacting
